The National Geographic Staff used information provided by The Data Center to create this graph. It notes the recovery rate of various neighborhoods. If you look at another item on this site, titled Post-Katrina Gentrification, you will note that many of the areas where black residents live had the slowest recovery rate. The major exceptions are the Central Business District and the St. Thomas Development.
